You know you’re doing something right when someone creates an hour long “live comic book performance” about your band! Recent OCAD graduate Andrew forester commissioned me to write a night’s worth of psychograss performed the bluegrass-trio version of the Opposites for the premier of his thesis work “Tin Canyon”. It sounds like a live audiobook will soon be in the works for this fabulous freaky story, so stay ‘tooned!
Soozi schlanger’s portrait of JFF is currently on display at Hugh’s Room, along side a handful of other Toronto folk artists. Soozi is one of my favorite visual artists of all time, so I do encourage you to check out the show, especially on her official opening on October 2nd. Serindiculously, The Opposite of Everything have recently started performing a cover of Soozi’s ‘doom-cajun’ song titled “Burnin’ Sun”
